We have designed a Y-cable and extension cable for the Mac mini that allow you to keep your existing power button intact! The Y-cable goes in between your existing power button cable/connector and the motherboard. The other end of the Y-cable extends out of the Mac mini chassis and connects to the "power button extension cable" which connects to J2 on the P1900. This gives you a way to quickly/easily disconnect your Mac if you want to remove it from your car and take it inside!
This cable does not work on mac minis that were made after march of
2009. A cable for the 2009 mac minis is in the works, but we can not commit to a date until it goes into production.
