This Lilliput 629GL-70NP monitor with DVI input is a popular screen for the automotive computing environment, however it may also be used in the home as it comes with an AC-DC power plug.  Text is readable, great for GPS applications. Another feature that sets this screen apart is its touch screen which makes it easy to control your computer. This will drastically improve visibility in sunlight. It is still not transflective but very nice for $500 dollars less. The new monitor will also operate in cooler temperatures without a long warm-up time to peak brightness. Overall Lilliput has made some drastic improvements to the 629GL that enable it to be a great addition to any computer system.
