We have designed a Y-cable and extension cable for the Mac mini that allow you to keep your existing power button intact! The Y-cable goes in between your existing power button cable/connector and the motherboard. The other end of the Y-cable extends out of the Mac mini chassis and connects to the "power button extension cable" which connects to J2 on the P1900. This gives you a way to quickly/easily disconnect your Mac if you want to remove it from your car and take it inside!  This kit also includes a black momentary pushbutton making your installation even easier.  Please note: the button must be soldered on to the end of the y-cable extender.

This cable will work with Mac Minis manufactured after March 2009 Including the new unibody Mac Minis. 

Please Note:  Installation of these cables on the new unibody Mac Minis requires ADVANCED computer hardware technical skills.  This is NOT recommended for the novice.  Mp3Car does not provide instructions or support on how to do this and cannot be held liable for damage to your Mac Mini while making this modification.
