This allows for the monitor to consume less power and have a higher contrast ratio of 500:1. This will drastically improve visibility in sunlight. It is still not transflective but very nice for $500 dollars less. The new monitor will also operate in cooler temperatures without a long warm-up time to peak brightness. Overall Lilliput has made some drastic improvements to the 629GL that enable it to be a great addition to any computer system.

Xenarc Technologies Corp. is one of the first LCD manufacturers to introduce a 7" LCD Touchscreen monitor that utilizes a LED backlight system. The result is a monitor with less power consumption and a thinner profile.
Mp3Car Review - The 705TSV doesn't have some bonus features like AISS (Advanced Image-Scaling and Shaping) and "Mirror Image Flip" like the 700TSV. However the monitor has an LED back-lit panel with higher brightness and higher contrast ratio than traditional CCFL back-lit monitors. The construction is ideal for mounting and custom molding due to the sharp corners and flat edges. The cord connections are recessed to hide them from abuse. This is a great lower priced quality touchscreen monitor.
