The OBDPro USB scan tool will work with 1996 and newer vehicles that support the OBD-II protocols listed below (all 1996 and newer cars are required to support one of the below listed protocols)

The OBDPro USB interface measures 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 3/4" and is built for use around the workshop. This unit is compatible with the ELM327 chipset commands but it goes further than the ELM327 in some cases. For example, it has a double buffered messaging system so that it can keep up with heavy OBD traffic.
It also supports variable baud rates from 9600 BPS to 1.25 MBPS.
