How to modify the E36 to fit a Lilliput 629 LED LCD.
Tools needed: Dremel
When looking at the back of the
bezel...
- there are 2 small tabs on the
bottom, that the LCD rests on. These need to be trimmed off. This will allow
the LCD to be mounted lower so the viewable area lines up with the bezel's
opening.
- there are 2 small tabs
on the left. These need to be trimmed off.
- also on the left, there's a
vertical rail (with holes to secure the LCD). The left one is thicker than the
right one and needs to be trimmed so it's about as this as the right one. This
will allow the LCD to be mounted more to the left (when looking at it from the
back) so the viewable area lines up with the bezel's opening. |
