I bought my unit in February of 2006.. .Its currently Nov of '07. Going on 2 years of every single day ussage. I am really pleased over all with this product.
It has been exposed to high and low temps and has NOT failed me once. I personally don't consider it noisy as some claim.
The unit is still working like it should.
Observations: + during cold weather it will not eject untill reaching safe temp.
+ great with centrafuse.
-Dark screen when cold untill it warms up.
-No reverse inject/eject (if you get a cable caught while its being put a way, get ready for a fight with it.
-Seems a piece of sand was caught in the screen material when it was coated. hmmm. better QC next time?
my experience has been a positive one and sure, I recomend this screen if its your first.

when you spend as much time as i know i did planning investigating installing and well dreaming about what the end product of your labors will be then to have to deal with what is the front end devise of your system that is extremely difficult to see in any sun light constantly looses calibration of its touch screen drivers and often has to be physically turned on and off to reset what was supposed to be an auto calibration feature. well !!!!!!! AS MY BUDDY FREQUENTLY TELLS IT IS WHAT IT IS AND THIS IS A POOR PRODUCT. MP3 CAR STREETDECK HAS COME A LONG WAY CONGRATES AND MUCH THANKS BUT REALLY PUT SOME ATTENTION INTO THE VENDOR CHOICES YOU MAKE.

the first thing I noted pulling it out of the box was that the metal housing was bent out of shape. Then I noticed that there was a nick in the plastic on the front. I could have lived with these two as once installed they wouldnt be noticable however when turning it on, the LOUD motor seemed to limp with a modulating whine as the lcd opened to reveal what looks like gear teeth marks accross 3" of the screen. done. returning for xenarc.

The unit works great with VGA inputs. The RCA video inputs however do not work on my unit. I've tried multiple sys, xbox 360, ps2, and a digital camera. None of which worked. The VGA however works great. Don't know if I just got a bad unit or what. Install was easy. The wireing was easy. Pwr,ground, remote like a car amp. Over all its a superior product.
