Thin PCB November 24, 2008
Reviewer: Michael Drew from Ann Arbor, MI United States
The PCB is not standard 0.062 thickness. This combined with only two mounting holes makes for a board that flexes more than I would like to see a board with surface mount components flex. Certainly costs enough to be 0.062 thick.

Running the computer in the truck for over a year now - starts everytime.

Don't overload it and you won't have any problems.

It works, Kinda July 22, 2007
Reviewer: Anonymous person from MI, United States
I have spent months toying with the wiring in my car, trying to figure out why this power supply causes so much darn electrical noise. There are no amperage supply problems. No grounding problems, I have tried everything in the book to make this work and then some. I had an electrical engineer go over my wiring also. Changing grounds, capacitors, regulators, filters, etc. But even he said it's just that power supply producing so much electrical noise. I have a celeron 3.06ghz, 1gb of ddr-3200 ram, hitachi travelstar 40gb hd, and ecs p4m800pro-m mobo. It may be my computer setup relative to this power supply, but this psu has made me one unhappy camper.

Perfect for small cases January 16, 2007
Reviewer: Brett Martin from Binghamton, NY United States
I got this powersupply with my Ampie case. It's practically made to fit in the case and all of the wires etc line up great. I went with this model which has the larger 160w over the 90w because its better to be on the safe side with all the USB devices etc I have connected to my pc. The psu has never let me down and the startup/shutdown controler works flawlessly. Setup is simple, move one jumper and it works like a normal PSU so you can install windows etc at home then move the jumper back and connect a wire to your ACC line and power and it takes care of the rest. Go into the power options in windows and "When I press the power button on my computer" and change it to "hibernate" now your pc will automatically hibernate by its self making a super fast boot up time!
