The Fusion Thermometer can be used for many different applications, but
the most obvious use is for completely autonomous HVAC control. With
the free Fusion Control Centre software, you can configure your digital
output with a Fusion Relay Pack to turn on and off with the climate. If
the thermal sensor is placed inside the car, it can keep the cabin at a
constant and comfortable temperature. Another option is to place the
thermal sensor on the outside and monitor the difference in temperature
to know when to turn on the defroster, or simply display the readings
on the screen as an info only option.
