The Mp3Car Store and Forums

Mp3Car is a small company focused on driving in-car innovation by supplying individuals and companies alike, with the information and products they need to develop and utilize new technologies in the car.  Aside from managing the Mp3Car Store and supporting the Mp3Car Forums, with the incredible support of our moderators, Mp3Car also works with individuals and companies on developing custom mobile computing solutions.

The products carried by the Mp3Car Store range from conventional technologies developed by industry leaders, to hobbyist innovations, developed on the Mp3Car Forums.  Some of these products are tried and true, while others represent the latest in car computing technology.  The Mp3Car Team strives to provide a diverse selection of products, so that customers may choose those products that best suit their personal car-computing needs.

The Mp3Car Forums are the best source, world-wide, for information and consultation on car computing, as well a host of other topics.  Every day, thousands of car computing hobbyists visit the Mp3Car Forums to share information on their latest car computing projects, as well as receive feedback on new ideas and technical issues. To date there are over one million posts and 90 thousand members.

Meet the Mp3Car Team!

Robert, Owner
Robert started his career in 1996 working in retail sales and marketing.  After recognizing a niche for small business computer and technology consulting services he founded Innovative Technology Consulting Corporation in early 1997.  Innovative Technology still runs and supports over 200 small and mid sized businesses in the Baltimore area.  In December of 2004 Robert Wray acquired the assets of Mp3Car and co-founded the restructured company.

Goce, Lead Engineer
Goce Started his career at Mp3car in 2005. He’s the lead engineer and responsible for managing and supporting the CarNetix product line, custom car-computer solutions, technical support and RMAs and any other technical inquiries for products on the store.
Goce was born and raised in Macedonia. He moved to the US when he was 18 and attended Shepherd University for his B.S. in Computer Science degree. He continued his education at Loyola College in Maryland where he graduated with a M.S. in Computer Science degree with a concentration in Software Engineering. Immediately following his graduation in the spring of 2005, while he was looking for a job in Software Development, he found a temporary full time job at a small company called Mp3car where he was introduced to the concept of Car Computing. He’s been there ever since.

Heather, Manager
Heather has been a part of the Mp3Car Team since the fall of 2007.  Her role is to make sure that Mp3Car continues to offer a diverse selection of the latest and greatest in car computing as well as ensure that each customer receives the products they want, when they want them.
Heather holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from McGill University and comes to Mp3Car after five years in the field of international development, working to strengthen non-profits organizations in developing countries.

Scott

Scott, Intern

Scott currently attends Towson University and is pursuing his degree in Computer Science. Previous to his college career he attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and graduated with studies focusing on engineering. He came across Mp3Car's forums a few years back, and ever since has been an avid reader. In 2007 Mp3car accepted his application for internship. Today Scott gives his assistance wherever it is needed in the company.

Chuck, Creator, StreetDeck
Chuck is the original developer of the StreetDeck™ software platform and is responsible for software application development.  He is a computer scientist specializing in human computer interfaces for in-vehicle information systems.  Chuck has been working in the in-vehicle pc space for over 6 years and aside from creating very usable software, has engineered a line of hardware products to facilitate the installation of computers in vehicles.

Chuck holds a Masters Degree from Virginia Tech.  While at Virginia Tech, he researched different in-vehicle input methods with regard to driver distraction and ease of use.
